About The Position

Somerfield Health Center is a 5-star, 66-bed skilled nursing facility with 11 assisted living suites on the beautiful campus of The Heritage at Brentwood. We are seeking a hospitality-minded Nutrition Servers/Dietary Aides to assist in preparing and serving our health center residents. We value people from all walks of life and all parts of the world who enjoy providing excellent services to our senior residents.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working in food and nutrition operations in a health care setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Food Services Manager and Registered Dietician, Dietary Aides assist in preparing and serving therapeutic diet meals, salads, and desserts in the health center
• Sets up and breaks down tables in health center dining rooms after meals
• Transports foods and supplies to and from the health center
• Maintains station equipment and work area in safe and sanitary condition.
• Works cooperatively with other food and beverage and nursing staff members in providing care and services to senior residents
