The role focuses on community outreach, presentations, and promoting services and resources to older adults, through a partnership between SMAA and the Town of Yarmouth. This role will support, coordinate and host in-person programs and services for Yarmouth residents. Position Summary: The Nutrition Resource Specialist is responsible for providing high-quality program support across SMAA’s Home Delivered Meals (HDM) and Congregate Meal sites. This includes conducting assessments, determining eligibility, linking clients to needed resources, coordinating daily meal operations, managing inventory, and supporting volunteers. This role ensures consistent, client-centered service delivery across all Nutrition sites and works collaboratively with the Nutrition Manager, Resource Specialists across locations, volunteers, and community partners. This role will work out of the Freeport Meals on Wheels Church that services the Yarmouth area. Mon wed thurs - Nutrition at meal site or out in the community doing assessments Tues/Fridays - at Yarmouth Library doing Yarmouth Library Resource Specialist work.
