Work Shift Day (United States of America) Job Summary: Nutrition & Food Services Assistant 2 - PRN PRN = As Needed The primary function of this position involves delivering great customer service while also accurately and expeditiously completing sales transactions on a computer register. Other duties include food and supply preparation, service, restocking and clean-up. This position may also be required to work in other areas of the Nutrition and Food Services Department to ensure the successful completion of patient meal service.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• One year of retail experience with customer interaction; cashiering preferred.
• Ability to communicate and understand verbal and written English language and Math.
• Ability to operate a computer register.

Nice To Haves

• Hospital foodservice experience and customer service experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Sales Transaction and Cash Handling Duties are Performed Efficiently and with Attention to Detail
• Ensures the Safety of Customers and Team Members (according to Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and County Health Department Guidelines)
• Engages in Efforts to Create a World Class Work Environment
• Ensures Positive Service Outcomes
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all WellStar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.
