About The Position
Come join a team that cares about health, nutrition, and wellness in the communities we serve. WIC is a federally funded program that provides nutrition education, breastfeeding support, referrals, and food benefits to families that qualify. This position is 32 hours a week with possibility of 40 to help with coverage as needed. Cover letter and resume required.
Requirements
- Associates or bachelor's degree in nutrition
- Great verbal communication skills
- Demonstrates ability to conduct educational sessions in individual and group settings
- Sensitivity to issues facing low-income people and those from a number of cultural backgrounds.
