Their teamwork, attention to detail, and genuine love for what they do, creates not just great food, but a true sense of community around the table. Responsible for the supervision of Dining Services staff, including Nutrition Care Partners (NCPs). Ensures that all department and facility policies and procedures are adhered to at all times. Ensures proper assembly and service of meal items, as well as sanitation and safety in all areas of dining service in the Hoy Center and Sea Glass. Ensures safe and efficient use of resources. Demonstrates leadership through verbal and written communication. Must be able to exhibit courtesy, tact, and reasonable speed in duty performance. Responsible, with direction of the Nutrition Care Manager, for hiring, training, evaluation, and discipline of NCPs. Must be able to make decisions independently regarding staffing and resident satisfaction issues. Always model our core values of respect, passion, and professionalism, and hold others accountable for doing the same. Ensures all dining areas are CMS audit ready at all times.
