The Nutrition Care Representative 'NCR' would be responsible for the provision of quality food and beverage services to patients in the Outpatient Cancer Center. Assist the Clinical Nutrition Supervisor and Clinical Dietitians as needed
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Food Safety Certification preferred (ie ServSafe, Prometric, etc.)
- Must obtain California Food Handler card within 30 days of date of hire
- Two (2) years Food Service experience preferred.
- Works effectively with minimal supervision.
- Person must be ethical, honest and trustworthy
- Must be able to stand and walk intermittently throughout the working day, as well as reach, stoop, bend, lift, carry and manipulate various food products, dietary supplies and equipment.
- Must be able to lift 20-40 lbs.
- Must be able to withstand exposure to temperature and humidity changes as in entering refrigerated and storage areas.
Nice To Haves
- Food Safety Certification preferred (ie ServSafe, Prometric, etc.)
- Two (2) years Food Service experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for adhering to food safety standards and maintaining sanitary conditions in all food service areas.
- Responsible to upkeep cleanliness and maintenance of food service equipment
- Responsible for receiving/ stocking daily food/supply deliveries and maintaining an organized storage area
