About The Position

Job Summary:# Responsible for patient food service on assigned units, e.g., menu selections and corrections, tray assembly, tray delivery and pick up, special requests and needs, in-between meal food delivery.## Must be able to perform all key role responsibilities of Nutrition Care Associate I.#

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Health care experience involving food services or one year of experience in service industry preferred.
• Good communication skills, ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete simple computational skills.
• Basic knowledge of therapeutic diets preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills are necessary.
• Some bending, lifting, pushing and pulling required.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Possesses necessary skills to effectively operate hospital#s admission, discharge and transfer (ADT) system and other computer-based systems, which manage patient-care records.
