About The Position

Care for our community, and your career. Essential Functions: Follow resident’s bill of rights and always treat resident with dignity and respect. Assist the Registered Dietitian with record keeping consisting of resident lists, weight, intake, data, and other pertinent information related to the diet and nutritional care of the residents Assists the Registered Dietitian in the maintenance of nutrition related documentation such and progress notes and care plans. Monitor resident food/fluids intake by completing routine meal observation as well as interviewing resident or food habits and other pertinent information related to their meal plan. Represents the Foodservice Department at team conferences and other facility committees/meetings as assigned. Assists in observing the flow of meal services to ensure it is efficient and as planned Works proficiently with the appropriate keyboard skills to use the company’s software, as well as other PC functions. Practices and ensure personal and environmental safety at all times Shows dependability by being punctual and maintain schedule compliance Maintain a good working relationship among co-workers thought appropriate communication Attends required in service programs Complies with corporate confidentiality and privacy policies and procedures Performs any other duties as assigned Education and Experience: Literate, emotionally mature adult in good health possessing integrity, poise, dignity, and good grooming. Candidate must possess a minimum of high school diploma or equivalent. Experience in food service is preferred. Candidate must have a basic and working knowledge of personal computer hardware and software. Computer proficiency (word processing, spreadsheet) with ability to create forms, reports, graphs, and tables is preferred but not required. Must have the ability to read, write, and follow oral/written instructions. Must be self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision. Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personally, resident, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public. Requirements
