Thank you for your interest in joining the Nusenda team! We are currently seeking a part-time Nusenda Mascot to join our organization. As the Nusenda Mascot, you will serve as the energetic and engaging face of Nusenda Credit Union at public events, grand openings, internal functions, and promotional campaigns. In this fun and unique position, you will be responsible for embodying the brand’s values and mission through performance, interaction, and presence; creating memorable experiences that foster community connection and brand loyalty.

Requirements

One to three years of similar or related experience
A two-year college degree, or completion of specialized training courses, or skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
Must be able to withstand wearing a warm and slightly heavy costume for extended periods to perform, including walking, dancing, and interacting with the public.
Due to the manufacturer fixed mascot costume sizing and safety requirements, must be between 5’ 6” and 5’ 8” in height with average chest size of 42” or less.
Ability to manage crowd engagement, follow event scripts, and maintain character and brand integrity.
Must be comfortable with physical activity and have the stamina to bend, jump, and perform energetic movements in varying weather conditions.
Strong organizational and calendar management skills are essential when attending multiple events, appearances, and commitments.

Responsibilities

Perform as the company mascot at community events, grand openings, member events, employee events, and internal functions, as needed.
Maintain high energy and positive interactions while in costume.
Represent the organization at community events promoting our organization as a preferred financial institution and workplace.
Responsible for creating and performing engaging entertainment such as skits, dances, improvisation, and crowd interactions to enhance member, community, and employee experiences.
Create positive and engaging interactions, messaging and in alignment with Nusenda brand standards.
Responsible for delivering scripts, or branded messages as needed.
