NURSING UNIT MANAGER - FREE STANDING EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT

POSITION SUMMARY Provide leadership to staff in delivering excellent care to patients and offers quality support to medical staff. Develops, initiates, and monitors quality improvement activities within the department. Promotes a culture of safety and excellence. Sets standards and expectations related to the care of emergency department patients and holds staff accountable to those standards.
Requirements
- Associates Degree
- 3-5 years of Emergency Department Experience
- ACLS within 12 months of DOH/Transfer
- BLS obtained within 90 days of hire or transfer
- PALS within 12 months of DOH/Transfer
- Registered Nursing License
- NRP must be obtained within 12 months of DOH/Transfer
Nice To Haves
- BSN
- Prior management experience
- ENPC and TNCC
