About The Position

Join our Free-Standing Emergency Department team as an Acute Care RN and experience the autonomy and impact of emergency care in a specialized setting. FSED nurses are the first point of contact for critical patients , delivering rapid assessments, stabilization, and life-saving interventions without the constraints of a traditional hospital environment. Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience in Med/Surg, PCU, ICU, or Emergency Department
• Active RN license (state-specific or multistate compact)
• Certifications: BLS (within 30 days of hire) ACLS (within 90 days) PALS (within 90 days) Nonviolent Crisis Prevention/Intervention (within 6 months) ENPC or TNCC (within 6 months)

• Additional emergency or trauma certifications strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Triage, assess, and provide direct nursing care to patients of all ages
• Perform rapid assessments and respond to critical changes in patient condition
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
• Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and internal departments
• Document assessments, interventions, and progress accurately
• Educate patients and families on follow-up care and resources
• Maintain a safe, clean, patient-focused environment
• Support a collaborative team culture
