Find your purpose as the Nursing Supervisor of Urgent Care! The Urgent Care Nursing Supervisor coordinates and directs the overall functions of the Urgent Care departments, including the rooming, triage, and practice nurses at Urgent Care locations. The supervisor works with administration, site coordinators, providers, other department supervisors/staff, team leads, providers, nursing staff, and community resources to render professional patient care. The supervisor also serves as a clinical expert and resource. Schedule: Full-time 80 hours every 2 weeks Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm Must be willing to work some flexible shifts as needed Ex. 1pm-9:30pm, 7am-3:30pm, and/or some weekend shifts. Pay & Benefits: Starting pay begins at $41.34 per hour and increases with experience. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of MN. Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association. Detail oriented and provides timely follow through with minor and major assignments Effective communication skills and strong analytical skills. Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate employees to be productive and efficient. Core Functions: Serve as a resource, advocate, and role model professionalism & flexibility in the ever-changing healthcare environment. Ability to understand, implement, process, and monitor quality improvement, patient experience, & access data Communicate, problem solve, follow through, and interact with nursing staff daily at huddles, Teams, e-mail, Jabber, Epic, rounding, 1:1's, and meetings. Promote an environment and culture conducive to positive teamwork and collaborative working relationships while encouraging work-life balance Put patients first at every opportunity. Looks for and identifies instances of missed opportunities in which employees could have better met patient needs; constructively brings such to their attention and coaches on how to improve or provide service recovery. Ensure staff have enough of, and the right equipment, supplies, and hardware to do their jobs efficiently and safely. Identifies trends affecting patient satisfaction and works with the patient experience consultant or contributing departments to make improvements.
