Days with rotation Job Summary Summary Responsible for leading and overseeing other nursing supervisors, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient team performance. Provides guidance and direction to nursing leaders and staff, fostering a collaborative environment that supports professional development and adherence to clinical standards. Collaborates with hospital administration and other departments to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement in patient care

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree Nursing required
  • Registered Nurse [RN - State License] - Generic - HR Only required
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support [ACLS (AHA)] - American Heart Association (AHA) preferred
  • Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred
  • Nursing experience 3-5 years required
  • Experience in a leadership or supervisory role 3-5 years required
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and nursing documentation.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and disciplines.
  • Thorough understanding of nursing practices, hospital protocols, and regulatory standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
  • Master's Degree Nursing preferred
  • Master's Degree Healthcare Administration preferred
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support [ACLS (AHA)] - American Heart Association (AHA) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervises nursing leaders and staff, ensuring proper staffing levels and assigning duties to meet patient care needs.
  • Monitors and evaluates nursing practices, ensuring compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Provides leadership during clinical emergencies, making critical decisions to ensure patient safety and quality care.
  • Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes.
  • Conducts performance evaluations, provides feedback, and facilitates professional development opportunities for nursing staff.
  • Leads quality improvement initiatives within the nursing department to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Ensures accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Addresses and resolves any patient or staff concerns, promoting a positive work environment.
  • Participates in hospital leadership meetings, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making.
