Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Five years or more in clinical nursing required.
• Licensed as a Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Ensure adequate nursing personnel coverage and reassign nursing personnel to cover unexpected absences or clinic needs
• Assign/Approve time off usage in compliance with attendance policies
• Conduct nursing staff meetings
• Order/maintain clinic supplies
• Perform peer reviews; promote/demote
• Collaborate with providers in assessing, planning, and implementing care for patients
• Maintain patient flow by escorting patients to and from
• Accurately record patient data; vital signs, height, weight, allergies, medication, and reason for the visit
• Administers subcutaneous, intramuscular injection and IV therapy
• Obtain blood specimens
• Clean and sterilize exam or procedure rooms
• Request and evaluate lab tests
• Inform patient of results per doctor’s orders
