About The Position

100% FTE, day/evening, 7:00am - 5:00pm. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will be working at University Hospital and Eastpark Medical Center in Madison, WI. Promote staff continuing education and evidence-based practice. Facilitate communication, coordination and collaboration among disciplines regarding identification, planning and provision of high quality, cost-effective care. Utilize your strong professional communication and collaboration skills to provide constructive feedback and resolve conflicts, train/mentor staff, and resolve patient concerns. Be able to perform procedures, moderate sedation, critical thinking and overall flow. Be an effective member of the management team, fostering a customer/patient focused perspective and ensuring a strong commitment to organizational service standards. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin and current CPR certification.
  • Two (2) years relevant experience in clinical practice.

Nice To Haves

  • Master of Science in Nursing or relevant field.
  • Five (5) or more years of relevant experience in clinical practice
  • Management or supervisory experience with demonstrated success.
  • Certification in specialty area.
