The Children’s Nursing Supervisor is an integral part of the Anderson Center for Autism medical team providing nursing supervision for the residential nurses, clinic nurse, and medical drivers. The supervisor will provide medical over-site, care and treatment for the individuals in both settings. Additionally, the Nurse Supervisor is a resource provider to staff regarding medical/health issues of the population served. The Nurse Supervisor will provide technical support to the nurses they supervise. At times, the supervisor will support the Health Services Administrators with various responsibilities, such as, attending meetings, conferences, providing educational in-services, and critiquing medical data. The Nurse Supervisor is responsible for the management and tracking of all documentation needed for the Medication Certification process (AMAP) in the Children’s Program. Assist with the administration and supervision of Health Services as needed.
