Experience for this role includes an in-depth understanding and management of a wide scope of patients, including Critical Care and Emergency Department patient populations. The NPDP must have an in-depth understanding of the American Nurses Association Scope and Standards of Practice. The NPDP must possess clinical experience, training, and education aligned with their specialty practice area of focus. The temporary NPDP will assist in the orientation and clinical practice in the Critical Care and Emergency Department Units. The NPDP will participate in the Nurse Residency Program. Qualified applicants for this role need demonstrated clinical experience in a broad scope of care of adult medical-surgical patients, have a mastery level of cardiac rhythm interpretation and treatment protocols. The temporary NPDP may assist in other departments as clinically requested by nursing leadership. Demonstrated teaching ability required for the position. This role will support Critical Care and Emergency Department areas and is a per diem role.
