This NPD Practitioner will hold primary responsibility within the Clinical NPD service line including RN Residency program, General Clinical Orientation, Traveler and Inpatient initial onboarding as well as supporting upcoming initiatives for the organization. Adheres to the nursing professional development (NPD) core competencies as defined by the Association for Nursing Professional Development (ANPD) scopes and standards of practice. Supports the transition of nurses and other team members across practice environments and professional stages through onboarding and orientation, competency management, and role development. Uses the educational design process to address knowledge, skill, and practice gaps at the individual and team levels. Evaluates clinical and professional performance and provides coaching in collaboration with unit or department leaders. Provides leadership through continuous process improvement and supports program development, organizational mission, vision, values, and strategic goals. Collaborates to support nursing quality, patient safety, and health equity within defined patient populations.
