Job Purpose: Performs complex work screening and reviewing applicants for possible TANF, Medicaid, Supplemental Security and Social Security eligibility potential. Work involves interviewing clients, verifying financial information and other case data. Will interpret Medicaid policies for staff, assist in Medicaid training for staff and may review records to determine continuing Medicaid eligibility.

Requirements

Must have high school diploma or GED
Must have two - three (2-3) year's medical experience working in a Health Care setting
Must have valid TX driver's license and be insurable

Responsibilities

Performs complex work screening and reviewing applicants for possible TANF, Medicaid, Supplemental Security and Social Security eligibility potential.
Interviewing clients, verifying financial information and other case data.
Will interpret Medicaid policies for staff, assist in Medicaid training for staff and may review records to determine continuing Medicaid eligibility.
Demonstrate the ability to perform functions competently, communicate and relate effectively with others, assist in planning, development, and implementation of program policy and procedures.
Carry out complicated oral/written instructions
Demonstrate competency in computer skills, maintain integrity while working independently
