Key duties include monitoring health services, medication management, audits, and incident reporting. The manager will also conduct staff meetings, trainings, and provide performance feedback, coordinate admissions, transfers, and ongoing care planning. Communication with families, agencies, and internal teams is essential, as is responding to medical concerns, providing triage, and reporting serious issues. Maintaining records, confidentiality (HIPAA), and required certifications, along with serving as a liaison with external partners and supporting team participation, are also part of the role. The position aims to ensure quality care, particularly for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
