This role is a part-time internship for a Nursing Intern at All Saints Hospital in Racine, WI, within the Med Surg department, working day shifts.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• High school diploma/GED required.
• Must be accepted or enrolled into a Nursing program upon date of hire/transfer and begin classes within 90 days of date of hire/transfer required.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a nurse, provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
• Deliver essential, compassionate care to patients, including assistance with activities of daily living and accurate vital sign monitoring, to ensure patient comfort and stability.
• Proactively monitor and assess patient status and responses to treatment, escalating critical changes immediately to the supervising care team to safeguard patient well-being.
• Maintain meticulous, high-quality documentation of all patient interactions and care delivery to ensure seamless and accurate medical records.
• Collaborate with the preceptor and interdisciplinary team by sharing timely test results and key patient observations to directly inform and shape personalized care plans.
