About The Position

Requirements

Active Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license in NY.
Minimum 5 years of experience as an Administrator in a SNF.
Proven success maintaining or improving CMS 5-Star quality ratings.
Strong understanding of Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, PDPM, and SNF regulatory requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and crisis management skills.
Bachelor’s degree required

Nice To Haves

Master’s in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead all operational, financial, and clinical functions of the skilled nursing facility.
Drive compliance with CMS and state regulatory requirements, ensuring survey readiness and quality excellence.
Collaborate with department leaders to foster a high-performance, resident-centered culture.
Maintain strong census and payer mix through strategic marketing and referral relationships.
Oversee budgeting, financial performance, and cost-control initiatives to meet margin and care goals.
Ensure the continued success of the facility’s QAPI program and five-star quality indicators.
Promote staff engagement, retention, and professional development across all departments.
Serve as the face of the facility with residents, families, community stakeholders, and referral partners.
