The Nursing Excellence Program Administrator will lead and execute strategic initiatives to advance nursing excellence across the organization. This includes overseeing professional governance, promoting evidence-based practice, and sustaining Magnet recognition. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and refining programs and infrastructure that foster clinical excellence, safety, quality, and innovation. Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelors of Nursing (BSN).
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Requires 5 years clinical experience in inpatient clinical settings.
  • Requires experience in Magnet coordination.
  • Requires experience in project management.
  • Requires experience in publication and/or programmatic application writing skills.
  • Requires excellent communication skills for a variety of different roles and leaders.
  • Requires experience in or ability to use computerized databases.

Nice To Haves

  • Masters degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Previous professional publication and presentation skills at national level preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining professional governance structures aligned with organizational goals
  • Supporting evidence-based practice, quality improvement, research, and innovation initiatives in collaboration with Nurse Scientists
  • Leading efforts to achieve and sustain Magnet® designation through strategic planning and system development
  • Facilitating interdisciplinary collaboration to improve nursing practice, outcomes, and staff engagement
