About The Position
Nursing Director (RN) - Emergency Services Full-Time Position Job Summary: Directing the daily operations of the ED, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation. Ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care, and implementing strategies to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes. Managing the departmental budget and ensuring efficient use of resources. Manages budget, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring cost-effective operations. Developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives, HRO Activities, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Leading and mentoring a team of nurses providing opportunities for professional development and staff education. Responding to emergency situations related to patient and staff safety. Collaborating with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
- Active RN Licensure in the State of Kentucky.
- Bachelor's degree (BSN)
- 5+ years of experience in emergency nursing.
- 3+ years of leadership experience.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills required.
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree preferred.
