About The Position

Located in Largo in the heart of Prince George's County, our new state-of-the-art regional medical center (UM Capital Region Medical Center) will provide improved access to primary and ambulatory care services, and serve as a tertiary care center for critically ill patients. In addition, our new space will allow us to expand our offerings as a community partner to help improve the health status of Prince George's County residents.

Requirements

Current license in good standing as a Registered Nurse in Maryland or a compact state.
Required: Bachelor's of Science in Nursing
Basic Life Support - Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
Experience (years): Required: 3 - 5 years

Nice To Haves

Preferred: Master of Science in Nursing

Responsibilities

Provides departmental leadership for the operation of selected patient care departments within the Division to ensure the delivery of quality patient care.
Manages human resources. Ensures systems are in place to provide for developmental needs of staff.
Manages departmental fiscal responsibilities.
Demonstrates effective communications/human relations skills reflecting a team-oriented approach.
