The Nursing Assistant role is a member of the interdisciplinary patient care team, primarily supporting patients with activities of daily living and performing patient care skills as delegated by a licensed nurse within the Ohio Board of Nursing Scope of Practice. The individual is responsible for maintaining and demonstrating knowledge, skill, and ability in these delegated tasks, and also supports department operational needs and performs other assigned duties. The position reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager.

Requirements

• Successful completion of KH Nursing Assistant orientation
• Certification in CPR/BLS
• Must have one of the following: Six months experience as a nursing assistant in a hospital or a long-term care facility
• Must have one of the following: Completion of Nursing Assistant course in the last six months
• Must have one of the following: Nursing student or listed as pre-nursing as shown on transcripts
• Must have one of the following: Current employee with Kettering Health

Responsibilities
