About The Position
Unit Overview: 5G/H is a 42 bed telemetry unit specializing in complex patients with multiple co-morbidities, palliative care, colorectal surgeries with progressive ERAS protocols, and MDRO patients. The patient population is transferred from ICU, ED and PACU. Shift: PRN Days Job Description: Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or other licensed care team member: Provides direct patient care and related support by performing selected nursing procedures. Performs routine duties to assist medical and nursing personnel in the examination, treatment, and care of patients.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current Kentucky Nurse Aide Certification required or successful completion of first year of a Nursing program and validation of a clinical rotation consistent with level of education.
- Must provide a letter from their school verifying the completion of their first year clinicals.
- Basic Life Support- Applicants will have 30 days from their hired date to provide completion of this certification if they don’t have it already.
