About The Position
Provides and assist in quality patient care in the acute care setting for Step Down, Neuro Telemetry and Medical Surgical patients under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse.
Requirements
- HS Diploma
- Completion of a Nursing Assistant or Surgical Instrument Technician program
- CNA -Certified Nurse Assistant
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- Assist with lifting, supporting, maneuvering, and adjusting the position of patients weighing over 200 pounds
- Ability to make fine discrimination in sound
- OSHA Risk Category I (High Risk)
Nice To Haves
- 2 years CNA experience or Operating Room experience
- Previous experience in direct patient care preferred
