Nursing Assistant
About The Position

As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering quality nursing care under the supervision of registered nurses. You will assist in the development, implementation and evaluation of individualized nursing care plans, addressing the physical, psychological and spiritual needs of our patients. Your role will also involve coordinating patient appointments, communicating with patients both on the phone and in person and performing various clerical tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required within 30 days of employment
Responsibilities
- Delivering quality nursing care under the supervision of registered nurses
- Assist in the development, implementation and evaluation of individualized nursing care plans
- Addressing the physical, psychological and spiritual needs of our patients
- Coordinating patient appointments
- Communicating with patients both on the phone and in person
- Performing various clerical tasks
