Requirements

  • CNA certification preferred, but PCA/DCS certification may be accepted
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Experience in healthcare, hospitality, or service industries preferred
  • CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Compassionate, professional, and dependable team player

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily living activities (ADLs) – bathing, dressing, mobility, toileting, etc.
  • Help prepare residents for meals, snacks, and activities
  • Provide assistance in the dining room – serving meals and clearing tables
  • Respond promptly to resident emergency call system
  • Observe, document, and report changes in resident condition to supervisors
  • Communicate professionally with residents and families
  • Maintain required care documentation per state regulations
  • Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and room organization
  • Help answer phones as needed
