About The Position
SUMMARY: This position is filled by a nursing assistant who, as a result of educational and clinical experience, possesses the knowledge and clinical skills necessary to provide direct patient care. Ensures quality focused and cost-effective care delivery outcomes; functions within a collaborative practice to enhance quality of care; and participates in continuous quality improvement activities. Responsible and accountable for basic patient care, timely notification to appropriate staff on completion of patient care and for patient status changes on the assigned shift under the direction of a licensed nurse. Responsible for adhering to all standards of patient care and promoting a team effort among co-workers. Responsible and accountable to know, own, and energize the mission, values and standards of the hospital.
Requirements
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent or minimum score of Bronze on the Career Readiness Certificate (“CRC”).
- Experience: No experience required.
- Certification: Current Arkansas nursing assistant certification preferred; BLS preferred.
- Other: Ability to read, write and communicate effectively. Basic computer knowledge required.
