From wellness visits to screenings and specialty care services, our team provides comprehensive care at every stage of life. The Women's Health Clinic is looking for a nurse in a full time role. Hours are Monday - Friday 8:00a-5:00pm; no weekends or holidays! Summary Assists nursing personnel with a variety of patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Performs under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Requirements

  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum of six months’ experience preferred.
  • If working in North Dakota (ND) and not a Certified Nursing Assistant, must be on the North Dakota Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry upon completion of training/competency validation or a maximum of four months from the date of initial employment.
  • Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a clinic setting preferred.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with clinical duties as delegated within roles and responsibilities, personalized training and competency, and needs of specific ambulatory setting.
  • Assists with taking vital signs.
  • Maintains stock of medical supplies needed for registered nurse or physician.
  • Complies with all patient duties assigned.
  • The Nursing Assistant serves as caregiver to the patient during the scheduled work period.
  • Administer delegated tasks and treatments.
  • Record vital statistics and other basic health information.
  • Provide assistance with basic health care needs including rooming the patients, daily living activities; emotional and spiritual needs.
  • Will collect non-invasive biological specimens from patients as needed.
  • Perform clerical work related to scheduling and documenting patient healthcare.
  • Prepare patient treatment areas for use; prepare and clean medical equipment; dispose of biomedical waste in accordance with standards and policy.
  • Clean patient areas or treatment rooms.
