About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers, currently hiring LPNs for the overnight shift (6:45PM-6:45AM) at their Covington, LA location. The center is a residential facility offering drug and alcohol medical stabilization and inpatient rehabilitation services, providing an unrivaled, evidence-based clinical curriculum and highly individualized care. The LPN will be responsible for providing quality medical care, coordinating pharmacy and prescription needs, dispensing medication, maintaining meticulous medical documentation, and providing patient education in individual and group settings. Requirements

• Minimum one year diploma program post - high school
• Current licensure necessary to practice in-state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented, efficient worker with ability to multitask
• Compassionate, dignified character which models recovery principles

Responsibilities

• Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment and discharge
• Coordinate all pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep clear med logs
• Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure total coordination of care
• Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting for each client
• Provide patient education in individual and group settings
