About The Position

Join the team at J.W. Jung Seed Company , an industry leader in mail-order and retail gardening. With six garden centers across Wisconsin, Jung Seed Company ships thousands of quality seeds, plants, and gardening accessories to all 50 states.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Nursery & Grounds Crew Associate to support the daily operations of our Fitchburg, WI Garden Center, with a focus on keeping our garden center and nursery looking beautiful and running smoothly all season long!

Requirements

• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds multiple times throughout the day
• Ability to stand and walk for multiple hours throughout the day
• Knowledge of plants and gardening preferred, but we will train
• Previous landscaping, nursery, or outdoor maintenance experience preferred
• Willingness to work nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Keeping nursery area and plant beds neat and healthy
• Assisting with watering in the Nursery
• Helping maintain irrigation systems
• Tackling weed control
• Lawn mowing and yard clean up
