About The Position
Location: Gardner, MA - Northeast Corrections Center. Institution Medication for Opioid Use Disorder Program Schedule: Per Diem. 5:00am-1:00pm. Every other Monday and Thursday plus Rotating weekends Saturday- Sunday included. Pay rate: $38.00-$44.00/hour. Weekend differential $10.00/ hour. The Nurse is responsible for: Administering medication to incarcerated patients who are enrolled in the Medication for Addiction Treatment (MAT) Program Triaging patients referred to treatment for Opioid Use and/or Alcohol Use Disorder Control, counting and administer medication in accordance with state and federal standards and regulation. Successful completion of 40 Hour Department of Correction New Employee Training
Requirements
- Valid MA nursing license from accredited school required, LPN or RN
- Must have current CPR/BLS certification
Nice To Haves
- Experience in substance abuse/mental health field or an acute care inpatient healthcare environment preferred.
- DOC experience preferred
- Travel to multiple Northern region MOUD sites
Responsibilities
