About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Unit Manager to lead one of our specialised mental health units at Ramsay Clinic Hollywood. This is a unique opportunity to lead a service delivering care across eating disorders, addictions and general psychiatry, supporting patients through their recovery journey in a compassionate and therapeutic environment. As Nurse Unit Manager, you will provide strong clinical and operational leadership, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care while fostering a positive and supportive team culture. In this role you will: Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the unit Deliver and support safe, evidence-based clinical care Promote a culture of recovery-oriented and patient-centred practice Manage staffing, workforce planning and resources effectively Support, mentor and develop nursing staff Drive quality improvement and accreditation standards Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, allied health and support services You will bring a strong clinical background and a genuine passion for mental health leadership.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
  • Demonstrated experience in mental health nursing
  • Previous leadership experience (NUM, ANUM or senior nurse level)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage change
  • Provide or complete a National Police Check (conducted within the last 12 months)
  • The Successful applicant will be required to complete a Working-With-Children check and may require proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in eating disorders and/or addiction services
  • Postgraduate qualification in Mental Health Nursing (or working towards)
  • Experience within a private hospital setting
