About The Position

Mother Angeline McCrory Manor is a Faith-Based, Nonprofit, 126-bed Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm. They have provided spiritually motivated care for the elderly of Columbus for over 65 years, emphasizing that caring is a compassionate calling based on deep-rooted spiritual beliefs. The organization is seeking to hire a LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse Unit Manager for a full-time day shift position with an on-call weekend rotation.

Requirements

Current licensure in the State of Ohio as a LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse.
Current CPR certification.
Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a Long-Term Care and nurse supervision.
Must be able to read, write, speak English language.

Responsibilities

Supervise the unit, overseeing registered and licensed practical nurses, nursing aides, medical clerks and support staff.
Manage work schedules, delegate assignments, assign tasks and evaluate employee job performance.
Discipline staff who don't fulfill their job requirements or provide inadequate patient care.
Set Unit goals and standards and establish employee policies and procedures.
