A Nurse Technician who excels in this role: Performs basic patient care as delegated and supervised by an RN, including monitoring vital signs, possible blood glucose measurements, and accurate intake/output recording. Assists patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating, toileting, ambulation). Observes and promptly reports abnormal physical, mental, or emotional findings to nursing staff. Keeps patient rooms and common areas clean, safe, and appropriately stocked. Manages the tech desk; supports nursing/physician staff and department throughput. Documents care and activities per unit standards. Participates in performance improvement and required education; performs other duties as assigned. What we’re looking for- a compassionate medical assistant with a deep understanding of physician practices and patient care.

Requirements

  • High School diploma preferred.
  • SRNA or EMT preferred.
  • BCLS required
  • Handle with Care preferred.
