Join #TeamWake as a Nurse Supervisor! This position ensures the provision of high quality patient care in the Wake County Tuberculosis and Refugee Health Clinic. The Tuberculosis and Refugee Health Clinic provides treatment for latent TB infection and TB disease, as well as TB evaluations and patient education. The clinic completes health screenings, medical examination reports, and immunizations for refugee clients. The Nurse Supervisor requires competent clinical knowledge and uses independent nursing judgment for client care provided by themselves and the nursing staff, ensuring the quality and safety of nursing services in the TB and Refugee Health Clinic. The Nurse Supervisor is a highly collaborative position, working closely with Infectious Disease Physicians, the Communicable Disease Manager, the Medical Director, the Nursing Director, other Wake County Public Health clinics, and local health care providers. This position also collaborates with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services and community organizations, such as refugee resettlement agencies.
