About The Position
Evening Shift Nurse Supervisor Pawtucket Falls Healthcare is seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Supervisor to oversee evening shift operations at our skilled nursing facility. The Nurse Supervisor is responsible for ensuring high-quality resident care, supervising nursing staff, and maintaining compliance with all state and federal regulations. An RN license is preferred.
Requirements
- Current RN or LPN license in the State of Rhode Island (RN preferred)
- Previous supervisory experience in a nursing home or healthcare setting strongly preferred
- Strong leadership, clinical, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and handle emergencies effectively
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs) during the evening shift
- Ensure delivery of quality resident care in accordance with care plans and clinical standards
- Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes in health status
- Provide clinical guidance and leadership to staff
- Manage staffing assignments and address call-outs or coverage needs
- Ensure compliance with Rhode Island Department of Health regulations and facility policies
- Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Complete required documentation, reports, and incident follow-ups
