What We Are Looking For: Strong clinical, leadership, and management skills; good interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships; high level of initiative and creative problems-solving ability. Two years of recent clinical experience in a health care setting, geriatric setting preferred, one year supervisory or management experience. An active RN License within the state of Florida. Recent clinical experience, preferably in a geriatric setting. What You Will Cover: Managing and supervising staff on assigned shift. (ie. Participating in the orientation of new employees) Participates in the management of resident care Demonstrates appropriate and safe work practices and behaviors. Explaining and interpreting resident care issues to families, residents and staff. Identify changes in residents status and intervenes based clinical judgment as well as MD orders. Requirements
