Woodside Nurse Supervisor (Days) - Walter B. Jones Center
About The Position
The primary purpose of the Walter B. Jones (WBJ) Woodside Treatment Center Day Supervisor is to administratively and clinically supervise the Division of Nursing Services and the assigned staff under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer. The Day Shift supervisor has the daily responsibility of managing, supervising, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the Nursing Division provided within WBJ. This is a position delegated with significant managerial or programmatic responsibility that is essential to the successful operation of the WBJ. The Day Supervisor assures the quality of care delivered throughout the hospital.
Requirements
- Knowledge of management and supervisory methods, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to plan, organize, and supervise the work of healthcare staff.
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, techniques, and practices
- Ability to actively seek to coach and mentor staff
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina and two years of nursing experience.
