FT position available (40 hours), primarily days with some off-shift flexibility This Master’s Prepared candidate will work to assess, design/develop, implement, and evaluate programs and initiatives at the unit level ensuring all regulatory requirements are met. The main areas of focus will include, but not limited to: staff education and professional development, practice standards review, onboarding/nurse residency coordination, competency updating, teaching/in-services, as well as monitoring and developing action plans to improve quality metrics. This candidate will also have an exciting opportunity to collaborate with other highly motivated educators within the Neuromusculoskeletal Service Department. The candidate must be able to demonstrate strong organizational skills as well as the ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills is a must. Acute rehabilitation experience preferred. Master’s degree required. Responsibilities

  • Completes defined scope and standards of practice.
  • Engages in environmental scanning to identify practice gaps and collaborates with others in improving practice and healthcare outcomes.
  • Functions as a learning facilitator, change agent, mentor, leader, champion for scientific inquiry, advocate for NPD specialty, and partner for practice transitions.
  • Supports learning, change, professional role competence and growth, which ultimately lead to optimal patient care, population health, and protection of the public.
