About The Position

MDPerm is seeking a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician (Physiatrist) to support the Intrepid Spirit Center (ISC) program at Fort Bragg. This role is part of a specialized interdisciplinary care model focused on Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), neurological conditions, and behavioral health, delivering integrated, patient-centered care to active-duty service members.

Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution
Completion of an accredited PM&R residency program
Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state
Current BLS certification
Ability to obtain and maintain military credentialing, privileging, and security clearance (Tier III)
U.S. citizenship required

Nice To Haves

Experience treating TBI, concussion, or neurological rehabilitation patients
Experience in military, VA, or federal healthcare settings
Familiarity with interdisciplinary rehabilitation programs

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive PM&R services for patients with TBI and associated neurological and behavioral health conditions
Perform patient evaluations, diagnosis, and development of individualized treatment plans
Deliver rehabilitative care focused on improving functional outcomes and readiness
Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team, including neurology, behavioral health, audiology, and case management
Support care coordination and long-term treatment planning with referring providers
Participate in integrated care model combining rehabilitation, neurological care, and behavioral health
Contribute to patient-centered treatment planning and outcomes tracking
Work closely with ISC leadership and clinical teams to enhance patient care delivery
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in MHS Genesis
Complete patient notes within 3 business days
Respond to patient communications within 1 business day
Comply with DHA, MTF, and Joint Commission standards
