The role of the Nurse reports to the Clinic Manager in partnership with the Clinic Physician. This position is responsible for providing direct patient care, assisting physicians with procedures, and assisting with front office duties, as needed.

Requirements

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Licensure and Certifications: Valid RN or LPN license and CPR, required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience: Previous experience in a clinic setting, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain patient vitals and update patient medical history while inputting data collected into the electronic medical records system
  • Prepare patient for various types procedures and/or examinations and assist physicians, as needed
  • Refill provider-authorized medications via electronic, fax or phone as authorized and appropriate
  • Provide direction, support, and counseling regarding medical therapies and medications as directed by the physician
  • Assist patient by providing direction, support, and counseling regarding medical therapies and medications as directed by the physician
  • Serve as patient liaison and advocate, as needed
  • Schedule surgeries and various diagnostic tests and provide scheduled date to the patient
