RN: Graduation from a four-year state accredited school of nursing and one year of experience in psychiatric nursing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LPN: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and prefer one year of experience in nursing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CMA: Minimum of High School Degree and obtained certification from the Board of the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA). One year related experience and/or training preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Strong psychosocial, clinical assessment skills.
Minimal supervision regarding use of time, able to prioritize work assignments.
Ability to communicate effectively with professions and clients/families.
Ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations.
Responsibilities
Provides medication evaluation, medication checks, calls in prescriptions, obtains samples, sometimes may provide individual, group and family therapy and subsequent paperwork.
Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning, case support activities
Provides crisis intervention consultation to all members of the team
Participates in peer review process for therapists
