About The Position

Appointment scheduling, referrals, check-in/check-out, and answers incoming calls. This position will also help with patient case management, working with LPNs/RNs and the providers onsite. Clinical duties may include taking vital signs, obtaining medical histories, preparing patients for examinations, drawing blood, and administering medications as directed by the provider.

Requirements

• Must have a valid NC LPN License or CMA Certification.
• Minimum one year of work experience in a medical clinic or similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Financial/analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Extensive knowledge of insurance rules, including reimbursement, third-party payers, pre-certification, ICD-10, and CPT coding.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of medical, financial, and staff related information.
• Able to perform several tasks at once in an organized manner.
