Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care
About The Position
Recruit Secure is collaborating with a for-profit Healthcare organization that is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (N-P), with experience in Telehealth (preferred but not mandatory ) for direct hire . The company provides an NP to work with Assisted Living Facilities to provide a high level of quality care. The NP will be assisted by an Assisted Living staff member on-site with the patient. The NP is responsible for assessments and to recommend treatments, medications, or need for OT and PT, etc. This is a full-time position (9:00 – 5:00 pm) on-site in Brooklyn, NY. There may be some flexibility in the schedule. The ideal candidate will be a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with experience assessing and evaluating patients. This position requires a strong understanding of Medicare and Medicaid processes, as well as the associated forms . The NP will be responsible for all medical documentation,
Requirements
- Current New York State Board Certified NP
- NY State Medicare and Medicaid credentials - a must
- Experience assessing, diagnosing, and prescribing treatments and medications
- Familiar with best practices
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong Computer skills and experience with EMR software
- Strong understanding of Medicare and Medicaid processes, as well as the associated forms
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Telehealth
- Experience working with geriatric patients
