About The Position

Seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners to support soldier readiness operations at Fort Bliss. Provide comprehensive primary care services ensuring military personnel are medically cleared for worldwide deployment.

Requirements

• Degree: Master's in Nursing from ACEN or CCNE-accredited program
• Certification: ANCC or AANP Nurse Practitioner certification
• License: Current, unrestricted RN and NP license (any U.S. state)
• Certifications: Current BLS, NPI number
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in primary care (family practice, internal medicine, general medicine) within last 2 years
• Citizenship: Must be U.S. Citizen

Nice To Haves

• Strong time management and critical thinking skills
• Experience with military or occupational health preferred
• Comfortable with high patient volume
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments for deploying/redeploying soldiers
• Review Deployment Health Assessments and medical documentation
• Provide primary care diagnosis and treatment
• Process 4-6 patients per hour efficiently
• Coordinate follow-up care and medical referrals
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in MHS Genesis
