Manteo Community Health Center, which is a part of Ocracoke Health Center, Inc., is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our team on North Carolina’s stunning Outer Banks. We’re a passionate group of providers committed to delivering excellent, compassionate care to our tight-knit coastal community. We are a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), which means we provide comprehensive primary care services to all patients, regardless of their ability to pay, and focus on serving underserved and rural communities. FQHC status also allows us to offer additional support and resources to our patients and staff. About the Role: Provide primary and preventive care to patients of all ages Collaborate with experienced physicians and clinical staff in a supportive, team-oriented environment Enjoy a balanced schedule with no hospital call Participate in community health initiatives that make a real difference Flexible employment arrangements: we are open to full-time, part-time, or short-term contract opportunities The clinic is open Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm (no on-call schedule!)
Requirements
- Is a licensed Nurse Practitioner in North Carolina
- Has experience in primary care or family practice (new grads welcome!)
- Brings strong clinical skills and a collaborative spirit
- Enjoys building relationships with patients and colleagues
- Wants to live and work in a place where work-life balance really means something
